ROTARY FILLING MACHINE TYPE IDR/MDR –
BREITNER Filling Machines
The rotary filling machine type IDR/MDR is the solution for filling in high-volume production. The intelligent open and closed-loop control functions support clean and precise filling even with special bottle shapes (e.g. heavily waisted bottles) as well as problematic product properties (e.g. highly foaming cleaning agents).
IDL: Inductive flow measurement for electrically conductive products (conductivity > 50 µS/cm). This is a particularly economical method with high accuracy.
MDL Mass flow measurement (Coriolis force measurement): also for electrically non-conductive products and for filling under explosion-proof conditions. This method also provides high filling accuracy.
Monobloc version of the rotary filling and closing machine
Often, the rotary filling machine and a – normally downstream – rotary closing machine are mounted on a common machine frame to save space. This ensures particularly smooth running of the filled and still unsealed containers (no spilling over). This compact design is particularly advantageous for soft, less dimensionally stable plastic bottles, which are not accumulated anywhere and therefore do not deform. You can find more information about the closing machines here.
